Having my 10th CE this year. I started with 3 woman and now have 20 coming this year. I serve a sit down dinner, my grandaughter helps me and we play several games with prizes. Cookies are judged and a Cookie Queen is crowned complete with a sash. Thank you for all your ideas, I have used many of them.

I just hosted my 6th annual Cookie Exchange yesterday. I used your website for my 1st one, it has all the info I needed. Thank you for creating it. Each year I have some of the same friends come back, but also new friends that I have met over the year. Yesterday I had 12 wonderful friends come. We had a great time. Last year I had everyone package their cookies with 3-6 per box and a plate of cookies for tasting. We did this again yesterday, 3 tables with boxed cookies and recipes, some had to get back to work and they can take 1 box of each kind and a recipe. My main table we ate and talked around. Also, everyone loves the Decipher the Canticles game. We have played it every year and still can't get them all. Thanks again

Robin thank you for creating this site. I am co-hosting the 1st (hopefully) annual cookie exchange. I live in a 55+ community. We are new to the community and thought this would be a great way to meet people. The exchange will be on the 17th of December and I sure hope it is a success. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas!

I have always wanted to host a cookie exchange. Well, I finally did it this year. This past Saturday I had invited 18 people thinking only 10 would show. However, I sent friendly reminders of when to make the dough and offer help if my friends needed it. I was shocked when 17 out 18 people showed ... the cookies were awesome, the games were fun and the evening was perfect. I want to thank all of you who visit this site. I read and got all my ideas from my "cookie exchange" friends. Happy Holidays!!

Robin, I just had my 2nd cookie exchange! The first year I had 6 people bring 6 dozen cookies each and this year I had 11 people bring 6 dozen cookies each. How can I invite more people for the cookie ratio? Thanks, Joy
