I use to host a cookie exchange but we moved and with a new child and being busy at work I had no time to host one in the last 3 years. I enjoyed your segment and next year I am going to host a cookie exchange at my house. Thanks for all your delicious recipes! Keep up the good work. LK

Gardendale, Tx USA - Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at 02:32:04 (EST)Robin, After seeing your website, I was inspired to have my own cookie exchange. I had it yesterday, 12/16 and had 16 women over for the event. It went very smoothly, thank mostly to your tips. I served appetizers (baked brie, shrip dip, tortilla roll-ups, chilled veggie pizza) and drinks. Everyone enjoyed it. We were able to make 2 trips around the table each. I am going to remind everyone before next year's party to be sure that they bring a very large Tupperware container to take their cookies home in. Some of my guests ran out of room in their containers. I held the party for 2 hours. Many of my friends have small children, so between babysitters and all the other holiday stuff going on, the 2 hours was a good amount of time. Thanks again for all the tips, it was just great. It will be the first of many!
