I haven't bowled duckpin in 20 years , but as a youth, I bowled at Marlow
Heights for Oxon Hill Boys and Girls Club. I was always on or near the top
of stikes and spares in our league. I miss it very much even though I only
bowl 10 pin now. I bowled in all state tourneys and kept an average of 125.

My 155 minutes of fame came at Queenstown Bowl in Hyattsville, MD in April
of 1982. I started with a Strike, missed a single in the second frame and
then made 8 strikes in a row, although I chopped the middle on the second
ball in the tenth frame. At the time, the 254 game ranked #4 on the all-time
list. I'm sure its probably not in the top ten now. I haven't bowled in a
league for several years and sometimes I miss it. Maybe someday? Oh well!!

In 1996, I bowled my first 200 and it was a 235 game, the highest yet and
only 200 game since. Although it only took 4 years of experience for me to
roll this game, I find this game very difficult and frustrating, but yet,
I still do it year, after year. Currently, I only cary a 129-130 average,
but someday, I hope to cary a much higher average and get a chance to bowl
on the pro-tours and leagues. For now, I will try my hardest to win every
game and try to beat my highest game and set. and to stay calm and focused,

I bowled a personal best 225 game and 537 set at Ryan Family Amusements in
Raynham MA on Feb 22 1995. The game and set are the second highest totals
bowled at Ryan's, which opened as Capeway Bowl in 1962

I used to bowl at the old Norwich alleys on North Main St. About 1981, I
bowled a 211 game in my Sunday AM league. However, the alleys burned down
a year later and I retired from the game.

I bowled a 244 on March 2nd - at Shibuya Bowl in Tokyo - previous high score
was 243 about a week earlier. Before that it was a 222 about 3 years ago.

I've only been duckpin bowling for a couple months now, and I did my best
game Sat. 3/31 at AMF College Park - 119! My husband also played his best
- 127! And my 4-year old too made a personal record: 81. We play with our
own balls, won on an ebay auction!
