Robin's Causes and Charity Lists
Here are some links to causes near and dear to me.
Ironically, several people I've known practically my entire life have become
founders and/or founding board members of some major US charities.
I'm beyond proud of my 'oldest friends', Becky, Holly
and John.
Breast Cancer Awareness
Too many women are getting this dreaded disease and we need to find out why.
Fortunately, many women are surviving their battles, but sadly many others
are losing theirs... On June 3rd, 2000, I lost one of my closest friends,
Patti Tate Ford to this dreaded disease. |

Children of Fallen Soldiers
Relief Fund
One of my oldest friends in the world, Becky Campbell, started this Non Profit
organization in 2003 to help the children of soldiers killed in the war in
Iraq, with college grants.
I am proud to show you this photo of Becky with the President and Mrs. Bush
in the Oval office, taken in March 2006.
Press Release:
Rebecca Campbell, Founder/CEO of the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund
(CFSRF) was honored to be chosen to meet President Bush and First Lady, Laura
Bush on March 10, 2006 for a meeting in the White House's Oval Office.
President Bush and the First Lady took time out of their busy schedules to
thank fifteen non-profit organizations that were formed to provide support
to our military and their families.
"The experience of meeting our Commander and his wife was a once in a lifetime
experience." "President Bush spoke to us about our troops how very special
they and their families are. How all of our Armed Forces have volunteered
to serve their country, not only in Iraq and Afghanistan, but in places
throughout the world," she said.
All of our military service members have volunteered their services to continue
to keep all Americans safe from harm and in doing so enable others in other
countries to realize some of the dreams and freedoms we enjoy everyday of
our lives.
We were gathered so that our President and the First Lady could thank us
firsthand for our efforts in providing support through packages sent overseas,
financial assistance and assistance to the families based here at home and
returning injured soldiers.

I attended the Dream Foundation's Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser to see my
dear friend of over 20 years, Holly Murphy, honored on stage in front of
600 people --for her elevens years worth of charity work as a Founding
Board Member.
We had our pictures taken with some celebrities, including Priscilla Presley
who was the Dream Foundation's Celebrity Ambassador for 2005.
John Bryant is today a businessman and social entrepreneur who has raised
more than $1.4 Billion dollars from the private sector to empower the poor
in the United States and Africa.
On May 5, 1992, Mr. Bryant founded Operation HOPE
immediately following the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles, California, the
worst urban civil unrest in U.S. history. Operation HOPE is today operational
in 30 major U.S. cities and three cities in South Africa.
(I met John over 25 years ago, when he was in his early twenties... 'a
kid with a dream'. I just couldn't be prouder of him and frankly,
I just knew he was going to do something big.)
