Love Your Site. I was starting think I was the only one who still loves the 70's. The best part was in the 70's party section where you mentioned making your own beaded curtains out of aluminum can pull-tops. I knew a guy who covered every inch of his living room walls with pull-tops. :) I forgot that until I read your page.

I am a student at York College and we are designing "Teacher Webpages." They are fake teacher pages so we know how to do them some day. I used your graphics for my home page and a few other internal pages having to do with the project. Thanks so much!!!!

Very nice. You need to finish your grandmother's site. I know you probably have pages and pages of stuff to sift through. I was enthralled. My own grandmother's history is also harrowing, but filled with love of family and the horror of losing loved one's so unjustly. We are African-American, and some of that history is truly terrifying. I could relate to your grandmother. Great site. Keep it up!

Robin I love your website and you have given me lots of ideas for my first cookie exchange. However I want to try something alittle different I would like your input. Since the holidays are over I wanted to host a Valentine Cookie Exchange. Not interested so much in heart shaped cookies but just the general idea of an exchange. What do you think? I want people to be interested even though it is not a Christmas Cookie Exchange. Thanks Char

I am a huge fan of these, always checking emails to see if they are really true. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!

Hello, I hope you have a nice Christmas and don't work too hard. After a few hectic times on "Holiday" in Albania and Kosovo, I'm in all probability heading off to New Zealand to sit on a beach in the sunshine. I wouldn't mind you sending me some cookies for Christmas. They just don't taste quite the same if they don't come from Maryland.

Robin I am hosting my first annual cookie swap party and looking for invitation ideas. Everyone these days has email and would like to do an email invitation. I have spoken to everyone that will be invited and they are aware how the invitation will come. Think I have a background picked out for this. Is it possible to do this? Just wanted to make sure, need to send them out no later than tomorrow. Thanks Dawn Frazier

Hi Robin, I am using your adorable Candy Cane graphics for my 2nd annual Home Ec Christmas Cookie Exchange Letter! I teach Home Ec (5th thru 8th grade) and last year was our first cookie Exchange. We bake cookies in all of the Home Ec classes in December up until the date of the exchange. Last year we had 2400 cookies! 24 different kinds. I got a lot of advise from your site and a few recipes too! We made adorable appetizers, (mozzarella wreaths, Christmas trees with dip and colorful veggie decorations, etc.) Beautiful decorations, etc. We invited the staff to exchange cookies too. The tables we decorated with lites and pointsettias. It was great! Thanks for such an informative site.
