The '80s were bad and the '90s didn't prove to be much better. The year 2000 doesn't hold that much promise. What happened to TV? 'Happy Days,' 'Laverene and Shirley,' were great shows. And "Saturday Night Live' was really funny! The Farrah fawcett look was in (why did it go out of style?) and just about every song on the radio was good. The Top ten was something worth listening to. How about these songs: "Thunder Island" by Jay Fergueson, "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" by Devo (not the Stones version), "Sentimental Lady' and "Ebony Eyes" both by Bob Welch, and "Thank You For being a Friend" by Andrew Gold. The '70s were a much better time than the '90s. If you agree, buy a pet rock. |
