does anybody remember a toy from the 60's, it was like a narrow piece of bright shag carpeting, with a face and googly eyes on it. we would put this on the back of our forearms and stroke it really hard. it would ripple up like a caterpillar. i just really want to know what the name of it was. thanks .

I remember the Vietnam War (called conflict then). Lost my high school friend there, too bad, he was nice guy. Aslo recall the last baseball games (softball( my neighborhood friends and I would play together, too bad those days ended so fast, like the fast cars did too back then. it was all parts of our lives God gave us to live.

I remember when I was in school, we use to make ashtray out seashells, we used to water paint, and bring them to our father on Father'Day. For Mother's day, we use to make a card out of drawing paper, and them make flower made out of tissue with the bobby pin in the middle, we used to push the hair pin thru the card. Also we used to use green clay and tooth picks to make animals. In school if we were good we use to get a commendation card from the teacher. I remember one of the most famous candy in grade school were Jar breakers, as you suck into than they would change color. Squirrel candy was also big and good & plenty candy, which i never liked. I also remember a shirk that came out, that it was short and pleated, with these ballon like pants attached to them. Also the bye bye birdie blouse with all the ruffles and buttons in the back.

I had a toy car that you would wind up and it would smash into the wall, and the parts would fly off it, you would then assemble it together again. I think it was called crash mobile?
